Lotus Inspired Proton Satria Neo for UK

Proton, the Malaysian mother company of Lotus, has just released a supermini onto the UK market which goes by the name of Satria Neo. Lotus has been involved pretty heavily by the looks of things, exterior styling, interior styling and chassis. The small car comes with either a 1.4 (94bhp) or 1.6 (111 bhp) liter CamPro 16v engine, where the 1.6 version is available as either manual or automatic. Simon Wood, Engineering Director at Group Lotus Plc said: "I am proud of the Satria Neo, it embodies those aspects held as important by Lotus; striking design, dynamic performance and driver enjoyment." Proton has taken care of the rest, a Blaupunkt radio with CD, steering wheel radio controls, aircon and, wait for it now, front electric windows. The front seats also come as anti-submarine seats. Top of the range model will set you back £10,395.
